EMDR & IFS Therapy Intensives

in Denver & online across Colorado

A large dose of therapy in a short period of time.

Feel better, faster.

Do you relate to this?

You’re ready to dive deep in your healing journey.

You’re feeling overwhelmed and need fast relief.

The problem? Weekly therapy just doesn’t cut it for you. It doesn’t fit your busy schedule or processing style.

You keep circling around the same themes — relationships, self-worth, old wounds — and getting stuck in the same places. You wish you could finally work through what’s keeping you stuck.

A therapy intensive can help.

Intensives condense weeks/months of therapy into 2+ days, allowing you to feel better, faster.

Unlike traditional therapy with its weekly 50-minute sessions, intensives offer a concentrated approach to healing. Longer, focused sessions (3 hours) get you the relief you need, without weekly commitments.

Through brain-body therapies like EMDR and IFS, you can experience life-shifting healing in the span of a weekend.

Accelerate your healing process.

Get more time, energy, & life back to yourself.

Intensives are for you if…

  • you’re too busy for weekly therapy, but want to heal + feel better ASAP

  • 50-minute sessions don’t work for your processing style — you prefer to have longer sessions where you can hyperfocus + go deep

  • you have a big life event coming up (marriage, family reunion, big move, new job, psychedelic/plant medicine ceremony), and need to do some emotional processing before or after

How can intensive therapy support you?

  • Intensive therapy provides focused attention & targeted processing of specific themes/challenges in your life. You can experience weeks/months of progress in a span of hours/days.

  • Step away from the chaos & automatic patterns of daily life. Intensives are a reminder to slow down and create intentional time & space for healing.

During your intensive program, you're encouraged to spend the hours outside of session caring for yourself as you would in a retreat setting  — whether that involves eating at your favorite restaurant, scheduling a bodywork/massage/spa appointment, or spending a cozy day at home journaling, drawing, cooking, and listening to music.

  • By experiencing significant progress in a shorter timeframe, you save time & money on continuous weekly therapy.

  • Intensives offer availability outside of typical therapy hours, so you don’t have to miss work or transition abruptly between appointments.

You can schedule your intensives on weekends, weekdays, and weekday evenings.

What can EMDR & IFS intensives help with?

  • Mind-Body Healing

Address pain at its root, through brain-body therapies that don’t make you talk about the trauma the whole time.

  • Nervous System Reset

Recover from stress and burnout. Build neural pathways of calm and joy… because you deserve to feel good!

  • Authentic Self-Connection

Explore your inner world and all parts of you. Feel like yourself again… or for the first time.

What does a therapy intensive include?

TIME | COST | VALUE

How is intensive therapy more cost-effective and time-efficient than weekly therapy?

WEEKLY THERAPY (50 MIN)

  • progress can feel slow & steady across several weeks, months, or years

  • areas of focus & degree of processing may vary from week to week, due to ebbs & flows of life

TIME BREAKDOWN

  • checking in & transitioning into session (10-15 min)

  • EMDR + IFS processing (20-30 min)

  • integrating & transitioning out of session (10-15 min)

COST BREAKDOWN

4 weeks of therapy (80-120 min processing): $900+

8 weeks of therapy (160-240 min processing): $1,800+

With weekly therapy, the focus shifts significantly from one session to the next — because life happens! You might spend multiple weeks/months working on one specific stressor before it’s fully resolved.

INTENSIVE THERAPY (3 HRS)

  • accelerated & concentrated healing — without getting interrupted every 50 min

  • highly intentional & focused space, allowing you to do more work, in less time, needing less therapy overall

TIME BREAKDOWN

  • checking in & transitioning into session (10-15 min)

  • EMDR + IFS processing (150-160 min)

  • integrating & transitioning out of session (10-15)

COST BREAKDOWN

2-day intensive (210-230 min processing): $1,350+

With intensive therapy, you might fully resolve one or multiple stressors in 2 days.

You feel better, sooner. You don’t have to keep taking time off of work or paying for childcare to attend your sessions.

1 intensive session is equivalent to multiple weeks of therapy.

Due to the increased value of intensive therapy, you may end up spending less time & money on continuous weekly therapy.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • Intensives condense weeks/months of therapy into 2+ days. They're a short-term, accelerated therapy, so you can do more work in less time and feel better sooner.

Within an intensive program, we may flow through various therapy modalities — EMDR, IFS, and somatic therapy. This integrative approach provides various entry points into processing work, and allows for profound brain-body healing in a short period of time.

  • Intensives may be good fit for you if:

    • You want to do significant therapy work, but don’t have time to commit to weekly sessions.

    • You would like to accelerate your healing process in a short period of time. You don’t want to spend months or years in therapy, or sit on a waiting list.

    • You’re going to weekly therapy, and things have come up (past traumas) that your current therapist does not specialize in. You’d like to do some adjunct, intensive therapy to address these issues.

    • You have a break coming up in your usually packed schedule — a leave from work, a holiday period — and would like to complete as much therapy work as possible in that window.

    • You’re getting ready for a significant life event — a move, new job, marriage, family reunion, graduation, ceremonial rite of passage — and need to do some emotional processing before this experience.

  • After a therapy intensive, you may notice:

    • a level of calm & connection with yourself that you haven’t felt before

    • a sense of having worked through something that’s been keeping you stuck for a while

    • feeling less weighed down by the past

    • a significant decrease in anxiety & overwhelm

Intensive experiences vary, depending on your specific situation. It’s important to note that intensives do not guarantee full resolution of traumatic experiences, but rather the opportunity to experience significant progress that would typically take longer to achieve in weekly therapy.

  • I have online & in-person intensives available, depending on your needs.

  • 2-day intensive programs begin at $1,350. During your free consult, we will discuss which intensive program is the best fit for you.

Intensive hours are billed at a higher rate than weekly therapy, due to the increased value, short-term nature, & scheduling flexibility of intensives. Weekend, in-person intensive hours are billed at a higher rate than weekday, online intensive hours.

In accordance with the No Surprises Act, you will receive a Good Faith Estimate (GFE) as part of your intake paperwork. This document will outline the costs of your intensive therapy program.

Once you have confirmed your intensive dates, a non-refundable deposit for half the amount of your total intensive cost is due within 1 week. This amount will be charged to your credit card number, submitted via the online client portal.

The remaining half of your intensive cost will be charged on the date of the first session.

  • Some insurance plans will reimburse a portion of the cost of an EMDR/IFS Intensive. Please note that the insurance company requires a diagnosis code as a reason for treatment.

I recommend calling your insurance company to learn details about your specific plan. Ask what benefits are available regarding out-of-network providers, and if your insurance will reimburse several hours of therapy in one day or one week.

I am happy to provide more information to help with this process.

  • Intensives allow for accelerated progress and deeper healing. This may save time and money on continuous treatment across time. Ultimately, intensives are an investment in your health and wellbeing.

  • I work with adults (18+) in Colorado. If you’ve been wanting to explore yourself and address the roots of pain & trauma, I am here to support you. Many of my clients identify as neurodivergent, highly sensitive, and/or people of color.

  • My style is warm & grounding. I draw from a range of healing modalities (EMDR, IFS, Mindfulness, Transpersonal Psychology, Gestalt Therapy, Somatic Therapy) to create a therapy plan that is personalized to you.

As a holistic therapist, I take care to get to know all parts of you — your mental health, emotional world, physical health, relationships, identities, and spiritual & cultural considerations — so that we can address the whole picture. I bring a sense of humor (when appropriate!) because I believe that therapy doesn’t have to be stuffy and serious all the time.

If ritual & ceremony resonate with you, I’d be happy to bring these elements into our intensive space. This might look like — lighting a candle together, having a ceremonial cup of tea as we reflect & integrate, and incorporating energetic, spiritual, and ancestral practices into the process. You can read more about my background & approach on my About Me page.

  • I recommend that you start with a 2-day intensive program. You can choose online or in-person.

At the end of the 2 days, we’ll evaluate your progress and decide whether it makes sense to conclude our work or schedule additional intensive days.

If you know upfront that you’d like a longer intensive program (to address multiple stressors, themes, or layers of complex trauma), we can customize your program from the beginning. I’m happy to talk through questions and logistics with you at our free consult.

  • The first step is to schedule a free 15-min consult. We’ll get to know each other and address any questions. If it’s a great fit, we’ll confirm logistics & scheduling for your intensive. I look forward to meeting you!
